Refund Policy

This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the financial terms under which Kuboid Secure Layer ("Kuboid", "Provider", "We") offers cancellations and refunds to its Clients ("You"). By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms stipulated herein.

1. The 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Kuboid offers a conditional 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee for eligible service agreements. If you strictly adhere to the terms of this Policy, you may request a cancellation of services within seven (7) calendar days from the Service Commencement Date.

We adhere to a "No Questions Asked" protocol regarding the substantive reason for your cancellation, provided the request is formally submitted within the specified window. However, this does not imply a full refund of the principal amount; all calculations subject to Section 3 shall apply.

2. Refund Valuation & Deductions

Refunds are not calculated based on the total purchase price. The final refundable amount is determined through a strict pro-rata calculation and deduction of incurred costs. The formula for refund calculation is as follows:

Non-Refundable Amount = (Daily Service Rate × Days Elapsed) + Transaction Fees

Total Refund = Total Paid - Non-Refundable Amount

A. Pro-Rata Service Deduction

We deduct the value of the service period that has already elapsed. The "Days Elapsed" count is calculated from the Service Commencement Date up to the Refund Request Date (inclusive).

  • Example: If an Agreement for a 30-day engagement is cancelled on Day 5, the provider retains the fees equivalent to 5 days of service.

B. Irrecoverable Transaction & Administrative Costs

The following third-party fees and administrative costs are strictly non-refundable and will be deducted from the gross refund amount:

  • Payment Gateway Fees: Transaction processing fees charged by our financial intermediaries (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), typically ranging between 2.9% to 5%.
  • Currency Conversion Fees: Any loss incurred due to exchange rate fluctuations or conversion fees applied by banks during the initial transaction or the refund process.
  • Administrative Processing Fee: A fixed fee may be applied to cover the administrative overhead of manual account termination and reconciliation.

3. Voiding of Service Agreement

Upon the formal issuance of a refund/cancellation:

  • The Service Agreement and all contractual obligations between the Client and Kuboid shall be immediately rendered Null and Void.
  • All usage rights, licenses, and permissions granted to the Client for any deliverables, software, or intellectual property provided during the active service period are immediately revoked.
  • The Client must immediately cease use of, and destroy, any preliminary reports, data, or proprietary methodologies shared by Kuboid.
  • Kuboid reserves the right to immediately terminate access to any secure portals, dashboards, or APIs provided as part of the service.

4. Exceptions & Non-Refundable Items

This Policy does strictly not apply to:

  • Completed Services: One-time services (e.g., a specific Penetration Test) where the Final Report has already been delivered, even if within the 7-day window.
  • Expedited Services: "Rush" or "Emergency Response" fees are non-refundable.
  • Third-Party Licenses: Any software licenses or third-party tool access purchased specifically on the Client's behalf.
